On June 6th in Szeged, in cooperation with ELI-HU Non-Profit Ltd. a new project, High Time for Beam Time was presented to the hungarian SMEs. The initiative is funded by the International Visegrad Fund and it provides the innovative enterprises of Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia with the opportunity to enhance their product development in world-class research facilities.
Numerous innovative small and medium-sized enterprises are making serious efforts day by day to improve their products in order to be able to bring excellent services to their costumers. These R&D activities could be supported by the High Time for Beam Time project which will give a limited number of companies from Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia the opportunity to carry out basic research of industrial value at one of the large scale research infrastructures participating in the Science Link Network (http://www.sciencelink.pl/).
The project aims to call the attention of the V4 businesses to the substantial value of molecular research opportunities which could be harnessed in product development in the near future as well. Obviously these kinds of research infrastructures are not available for most of the SMEs but successfully proposing companies could gain support for their research plan.
The deadline of the application has been modified to 15 August 2016. The terms of reference and the application form of the pilot call are available by clicking on the links below:
